Title: Delay eruption of maxillary permanent incisors, diagnosis and management. Case reports
Abstract:
Eruption of permanent incisors start as soon as exfoliation of primary predecessors take place. Normally toothless time varies from 2 weeks to 10 weeks. By the 6 years of age , mandibular and maxillary permanent incisors start to erupt at a known sequence in the next 1.5 – 2 years , and as we know that any permanent tooth is going to erupt inside the oral cavity, there should be a 2/3 or ¾ of root length formation. Any disturbance or delay in root formation will lead to failure of crowns appearance. The delay of eruption of teeth and incisors are local or general with other teeth and maybe seen unilaterally or bilaterally depending on the causative factor, and such event if happened , it will give an obvious attention from the patients and parents because of their anterior position as they regarded as the mirror image of esthetic. in our lecture we will show several case reports about such problems, and clarify the diagnosis and managements of such problems.
